Capital City Patios is a family-owned business founded by Chris and Erin Ehler in 2015. Chris has been building hardscapes since 2005, and from day one, our focus has been on creating exceptional outdoor living spaces.
Unlike many landscape companies that offer patios as an add-on, hardscaping is all we do. Every project is personally estimated by Chris, professionally designed in 3D, and installed by our experienced in-house crew. Based in New Albany, we proudly serve homeowners throughout Columbus and Central Ohio with outdoor spaces built to last.

Hardscaping Is All We Do
We don’t split our time between mulch, mowing, and patios. Hardscaping is our specialty, so every project is built by a crew that understands the proper techniques, materials, and installation methods that stand the test of time.
OWNER-LED FROM START TO FINISH
Chris personally designs, estimates, and oversees every project from start to finish. You’ll work directly with the owner throughout the process—not a salesperson or project manager.
Our Own In-House Crew
We never hand your project off to subcontractors. Every installation is completed by our experienced, in-house crew, allowing us to maintain quality from the first cut to the final walkthrough.
Built to Last
Many of the repairs we complete are for patios and walls that were installed incorrectly. Our experience repairing failed hardscapes helps us build projects the right way from the start.
CERTIFIED QUALITY AND WARRANTY
Unilock Authorized Contractor
As a Unilock Authorized Contractor, we are trained and certified to install Unilock products to the manufacturer’s standards. Most Unilock products carry a lifetime material warranty against manufacturing defects, while we back our workmanship with a 3-year installation warranty. Most major settling caused by improper installation appears within the first two years, so our additional year of coverage provides added peace of mind that your project was built right.
One Contractor, Start to Finish
Many hardscaping contractors stop once the pavers are installed. We don’t. From drainage and irrigation to lighting, permits, utility locates, and final yard restoration, we manage the entire project from start to finish. One experienced contractor, one point of contact, and a finished outdoor space without the hassle of coordinating multiple companies.

Meet the Ehlers
Capital City Patios is proudly owned by Chris and Erin Ehler. Chris has been building hardscapes since 2005 and personally designs, estimates, and oversees every project. Erin manages client communication, scheduling, and billing, ensuring every customer has a smooth experience from the first call to the final invoice. Together, they’ve built Capital City Patios on quality craftsmanship, honest communication, and treating every project as if it were their own.
